SAMPLE ITINERARIES

ITINERARY 1: GLACIERS, LAKES & PEAKS OF LAKE LOUISE

Suggested Timing:

7:30 am departure from Banff hotels
Enjoy a scenic drive down the Bow Valley for the best opportunity to see wildlife while your professional guide provides stories of local history, culture, and wildlife
Stretch your legs on short walks and take advantage of photo opportunities at iconic Moraine Lake and world famous Lake Louise as you learn about the significance of each location
Arrive at the Lake Louise Summer Gondola, a protected Grizzly bear habitat, for a gondola or chairlift ride (additional cost applies). Watch for wildlife below as you ride to 2088m (6850ft) for incredible views of Lake Louise and the Bow Valley.
Option to enjoy a hot lunch at one of four restaurants on Mt. Whitehorn (additional cost applies): Lodge of Ten Peaks Cafe, Kuma Yama Japanese restaurant, Whitehorn bistro in the alpine at 2042m and the new Bear's Den Smokehouse and Patio.
Return to Banff for drop-off at your hotel by 3:00 PM

ITINERARY 2: CONSOLATION LAKES

3 Must-see locations in Banff all in one active-guided tour with return transfer by 14 passenger van included!

Enjoy shoreline explorations of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, the turquoise jewels of the Canadian Rockies. Access with door-to-door service to both lakeshores with your interpretive guide/driver. Follow your guide as they lead you on our pick for 'Best short hike in the Rockies' to Consolation Lakes. These secluded lakes are reached via an easy 3km hike from the Moraine Lake parking area. Lush pine forests, babbling mountain streams and views of towering cliffs above frame this gentle hike, where you are rewarded by lunch (additional cost) beside the tranquil waters of two small lakes under the impressive Quadra Glacier.
