Canmore, Lake Louise, Kananaskis and Banff Hiking Tours: Full Day Hikes

From popular trails in Lake Louise and Banff to virtually unknown routes in Kananaskis Country there's a hike for all abilities and interests. And there are lots of reasons to hire a guide for a day: you'll travel safely, learn about the area, meet locals, and best of all you'll hike a trail or route that provides you with maximum reward for your effort! German, French, and Japanese speaking guides are also available. Bottled water and use of day packs included.

Hiking Tours Rates: 1-6 persons: $450. Each additional person add $75, additional children 8-12 add $50 each.

Transportation from Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise add $25 per person. (min. charge: $150)

Stanley Glacier - from Banff or Lake Louise

Exciting hike through old and new forest with dramatic views of Stanley Glacier. Variety of difficulties and distances. 4-6 hours.

Lake Louise area hikes - from Lake Louise or Banff

Some of Banff National Park's most popular trails leading to two teahouses and high level views of glaciers, Lake Louise, and the Bow Valley. 5-7 hours.

Larch Valley and Valley of Ten Peaks -from Lake Louise or Banff

Choice of some of Banff's best hikes all beginning at Moraine Lake. Trails include Sentinel Pass and Eiffel Lake. 5-8 hours.

Wind Pass and Tower - from Canmore or Banff

Hike in the Spray Valley that quickly leads to an alpine pass with options to easily hike to the summit of Wind Tower. Steep hiking at times. 3-6 hours.

Yamnuska Ridge - from Canmore or Kananaskis

Great early season hike with open views of prairie stretching as far as Calgary. Steep trail with option to reach summit and circumnavigate mountain. 4-6 hours.

Loder Peak - from Canmore or Kananaskis

Ridgeline hike leading to a summit at the edge of the Rockies. Ideal in early season. Steep trail. 4 - 6 hours.

Healy Pass - from Banff or Lake Louise

Hike begins at Sunshine Meadows Parking lot and leads to one of the Rockies' best flower filled alpine meadows.
5-8 hours.

Baldy Pass - from Kananaskis or Canmore

Exciting hike through a wild valley leading to a pass with views to the prairies. 4-6 hours.

Sunshine Meadows - from Banff, Canmore or Lake Louise
